I really enjoyed an article I read today by Jeff Haden, The One Mental Approach You Need to Succeed. It's timely for me right now because I recently took a huge step in my career. Leaving a stable and respected position to open up East of the Sun. It felt risky, and still feels a bit like a free fall, where I am to trust the process as I wait for my parachute to open. I am however determined to put one foot in front of the other, learn something new each day, and gracefully allow myself to make mistakes. I've chosen to believe that my passion and hard work will eventually payoff, and an upthrust will soon take place. Perhaps then I will regain some balance and slowly start to glide and enjoy the view.
I do miss being able to afford sushi.
